Dunun from Ghana

These Dunun (Also Dun Dun, Doun Doun) from Ghana are hand carved out of Tweenaboa Wood, which is a softer wood and does make it more sustainable. Each set comes with three dunun sticks.

• Used by many schools as well as independent facilitators, due to their lower cost and usually lighter weights.
• Once received, prior to shipping out, each set is carefully inspected, cleaned and tuned up.
• Sizes are approximate due to each drum being hand carved out of a single log.
• Current stock has matching carvings on all three unlike the stock photo of a previous shipment.
• Dununba: ~ 16″ x 25″
• Sangba: ~ 14″ x 23″
• Kenkeni ~ 11″ x 20″
