Djembe – Ivory Coast – Lenké – 2407001

This is the first of our Stage Performance Series:

• The Shell is Lenké {Afzelia Africana} carved in the Ivory Coast, however the rope is our DDS Designed Drum Rope, The Rings are our 1/4″ cold rolled steel custom fit, and the Goatskin heads are hand picked by our builders then assembled here in our shop.
• The drum features a full leg carving of traditional Ivory Coast designs done with the traditional chip pattern finish. The bowl however was sanded smooth to give the unique grain of the wood a chance to pop!
• This series is designed to bring the Flashy and Classy Aesthetics and Stage Quality Sound together in one beautiful drum ready for it’s stage debut. Just needs a djembefola to show her off.
• The Brass Tack Work and Banding accents added by Rory “DeerHawke” Baker.
