Bougarabou Shells from The Ivory Coast are carved out of Iroko Wood, which is equivalent to Red Oak on the Janka Scale of Hardness.
- Used by many schools as well as independent facilitators, to instruct students on building their own drums.
- These shells come in 2 sizes.
- Large or Fullsize is ~ 12″-14″ heads x 24″ Tall
- Medium ~ 11″ x 22″
- Kits come with Black rope and a cowhide 20″ round with hair unless otherwise specified.
